Anti-Air Gun
Restored September 11th, 2026
"In defense of freedom, they looked toward the heavens and held the line."
This Anti Aircraft Gun has always focused on holding the line and protecting fellow troops from air threats.
Its permanent presence has always been a timeless beacon at the Miami Beach Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3559 and serves as a historic remembrance of all military conflicts across oceans and around the world.
The restoration of the Anti Aircraft Gun on the 25th anniversary of 9/11 by the United States Coast Guard, First Responders, Global War on Terrorism veterans and VFW members Alex Kruger-Dobrota and Albert Porro, and benevolent community partners Manny Leon of Design-Build InterAmerica, Inc., and Henry A. Delgado of Smith & Wollensky, underscores this iconic military symbol of stealth will forever be a cornerstone of the Home of the Brave.
