Join Miami Beach VFW Post 3559 on Patriot Day as we commemorate the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001 with the ceremonial unveiling of the Post’s newly restored historic Anti-Aircraft Gun.
For generations, this landmark has stood at the Miami Beach VFW as a symbol of vigilance, service, and the responsibility to protect those beside us. Its restoration on this milestone anniversary honors those lost on September 11, the service members and first responders who answered the call, and the Global War on Terrorism generation that followed.
The restoration was made possible through the efforts of the United States Coast Guard, First Responders, Global War on Terrorism VFW members, together with community partners.
