We are building a bridge of harmony with the community we still serve. It’s wonderful seeing families and friends of veterans supporting the Post 3559 with open arms and embracing all that is great about the human spirit. Our war fighting experiences have taught that us that our mission-oriented mindset can be extremely powerful and uniquely beneficial in shaping communities that embodies living with joy, social connection, and purpose. The Patriot Partner program is a way of offering this healthy mindset to first responders, civil servants, and the community alike by socializing at our beautiful base on the bay overlooking the water that is the Miami Beach VFW Post 3559. Chartered in 1927 and built in 1936, VFW Post 3559 is the only physical veteran non profit service organization in the City of Miami Beach and is an existing land mark showcasing our city’s rich military history.
Community patrons are invited to become “Patriot Partners” of the Miami Beach VFW Post 3559 upon application approval.
Terms:
-Every Patriot Partner applicant must be referred by a VFW member, vetted, and approved by a VFW member.
-A copy of the applicant’s headshot, residency of City of Miami Beach, valid drivers license or identification, email, and phone number is required to have on file throughout duration of Patriot Partner membership to maintain Active membership.
Patriot Partner membership fee is $10/month. Membership will immediately become inactive if fees are unpaid.
-A Patriot Partner's rights will be limited to serving in community events and socializing in the canteen
Patriot Members will not have the rights of Veteran of Foreign Wars Members or Auxiliary Members and will not have access to internal member business
-Any VFW member can immediately suspend the membership of a Patriot Partner, and request their membership terminated. If there is no dispute with other VFW members, their membership will be terminated. If there is a dispute, the membership will remain suspended until resolved by vote in the next member meeting.
