Alex Kruger-Dobrota

 

Alex Kruger-Dobrota is a military veteran, community leader, and entrepreneur with a diverse background spanning business, real estate, and technology. Raised in an entrepreneurial family that founded one of North America’s largest futon companies, Alex developed an early aptitude for business operations and strategic growth.

 

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and is a self-taught machine learning engineer, combining technical expertise with sharp business acumen. His career began in the military, where he served as Assistant Team Leader of a Scout Sniper team, gaining critical experience in resilience, adaptability, and leadership in high-stakes environments.

Following his service, Alex transitioned into real estate development, event management and entrepreneurship. He successfully scaled a jiu-jitsu promotions company from grassroots beginnings to hosting world-class athletes in Miami’s largest venues—demonstrating his ability to execute bold visions, build partnerships, and deliver results. With over 12 years of real estate investment experience, Alex also brings a deep understanding of finance and market dynamics to his ventures.

Dedicated to service beyond business, Alex has been a driving force in the veteran community. As Senior Vice Commander and later Chair of Membership & Programs for the Miami Beach Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), he spearheaded numerous initiatives fostering camaraderie, mentorship, and community support. Most recently, he played a leading role in organizing Fleet Week Miami Beach events, including the Top Gun Beach Olympics, bridging military tradition with public engagement.

Alex is also the founder of Badger: Operation Gamify, a social competition platform that helps people find joy and purpose, enabling users to earn and compete for badges in a dynamic community environment. This venture reflects his commitment to innovation and his ability to translate military culture into engaging civilian experiences.

With a proven track record of leadership, innovation, and impact, Alex Kruger-Dobrota continues to drive positive change across multiple sectors. His passion for entrepreneurship, combined with his dedication to serving others, defines his journey of building meaningful connections and lasting impact.
