Recon Scout Challenge

This Sunday Feb 18th at noon starting at Badger stall 457-458, veteran owned open world gamification platform Badger: Operation Gamify will be conducting a gamified mock intelligence operation in the form of a scavenger hunt with National Honor Society students from Hialeah High School at the @ygfarmersmarket. Our mission with this project is to help teach basic knowledge on situational awareness and team based mission oriented thinking in a high traffic urban environment while having fun at the same time.

Students will be broken up into squads to complete challenges from different vendors around the market. While completing challenges they must use Badger to “spot” competing squads to utilize Badger’s AI powered automated intelligence report. At the end of the mission each squad must give an after action report to the command (composed of veterans). Prizes and Badger badges (a digital challenge coin) will be given for notable performances and the winning squad.

We would like to thank NHS student Keven, from Hialeah High School, for organizing this Veteran appreciation project. Him and 8 other students made 100 care packages and will be donating them to us to distribute to veterans and hear our stories.
