About Jorge Schmidt
 

Jorge Schmidt currently serves as Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 3559’s Judge Advocate General. As a SOT-A in the Florida Army National Guard’s 3/20th  SFG(A), he deployed multiple times in support of OEF, including service as team S-2 and IOO (Intelligence Oversight Officer). He founded two startups in Latin America, successfully guiding an eight-figure Series A investment round into a world-leading offshore aquaculture project. He has practiced law for over twenty years.
