About Jackie Tam

Jackie Tam currently leads Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 3559 in Miami Beach, FL, as Commander. A retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel with 30 years of service, he brings extensive experience from multiple combat deployments, including active duty tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. As a decorated logistics officer and private-sector innovator, Jackie advised a startup on logistics and technology. He also developed and led software programs and teams for several major technology companies.  Jackie held positions as a deployed Battalion Commander and Staff Officer across Brigade, Division, and Army Service Component Commands.

- Directed logistics and software initiatives during seven combat tours, enhancing warfighter support.  

- Led 350+ soldiers and civilians through war zones, delivering mission success with clear strategic vision.
